My coastal upbringing near the secluded islands of Georgia has instilled in me a love for driftwood. I have always been fascinated by the one-of-a-kind pieces scattered on a nearby, independently owned island. One particular type of driftwood that captured my attention, I later learned, is only found along the Southeast Atlantic coast. My childhood love for coastal driftwood, combined with my desire to bring it back to life, has set me forth on a mission to collect, clean, and turn these unique pieces of driftwood into gorgeous showpieces of art.
