Java Woodworks studio, located in Oakland Township, Michigan, is home to wood artisan Steve Andridge. Java Woodworks specializes in unique, hand-crafted live edge wood centerpieces, wood bowls and sculptures for your home and family. Steve also creates hand engraved, personalized wood trays and lazy susans for serving and dinner table settings. All the wood Steve uses is locally sourced logs, reclaimed from nearby farms and fields, which is rough cut with a chainsaw and then hand carved in the Java Woodworks shop. Steve crafts each piece following the natural contours and features found in the wood. Revealing a gnarly knot or intricate grain pattern to highlight the wood’s natural beauty is what makes Java Woodworks so unique.
