Wood Art (butterflies / flowers / earrings / etc) created from spalted wood. C. Scott Woody makes his home in Weaverville, N.C. Scott utilizes fallen wood that has undergone spalting - the actions of decay (bacteria, fungus, insects, and weather), and uses the creative patterns of Mother Nature’s actions to fashion one of a kind art pieces. Scott uses only found or recycled/reclaimed material including fallen trees/branches/firewood, copper wiring, and various plywoods and boards.
