The Turning Vet specializes in hand crafted wooden toys and home decor such as candle sticks, bowls, plates, cups and more. I work out of my shed in the backyard. I am not a machine cranking out thousands of items a year! The fact that I do not own such a machine lends itself to the uniqueness of each piece I craft. The variants each piece of wood can have, such as bark patterns, bark inclusions, grain patterns, and even color, also determine the unique qualities found in each piece. That being said, please be patient with me as I strive to share with you the quality of craftsmanship you would expect from an American Veteran.
