So, I love woodworking, I always have. I just never had a chance to get fully engaged in it while in the Army. Don’t take me wrong, I dabbled in it, I just never got serious with it. Once I retired from the Army, I held a couple jobs, but I was never really into it, I felt burnt out. It took a little while to figure out what path I wanted to take. Once I did, I went for it. I retired from the Army in Texas. I started out with the basic tools-drill, dremel, scroll saw, and sander. Then, once I mastered the basic tools, I started gradually working my way up to-table saw, mitre saw, band saw, and lathe. I must say that the lathe is my favorite!
