I turn bowls, platters and enclosed shapes using local Vermont woods, mostly from trees on our land. My bowls are inspired by the unique characteristics of the wood. Burls, interesting grain patterns, spalting or crotch figuring help to determine each bowl's unique design. Finishes are food safe and celebrate rather than hide the natural color and appearance of the wood. Turned pieces can be seen and purchased at my studio Please call ahead, (802) 765-4076.
